Owwii :(

I bought a wii and have been playing the boxing on wii sports for the past couple of days now. It is so much fun that you just keep playing and playing. It has been a couple of days since I played and now I'm feeling the repercussions! :(  Oh man am I sore--my arms, shoulders, and upper back are aching. It's hard to work when you have to reach for bottles of medication off of shelves that are above my head. Boxing against other people is a really good work out. I think that I am like most people that have bought a wii--you play like crazy when you first get it and end up getting really sore from the boxing or getting tennis elbow!

BlaCk FriDaY ShOpPinG!!!

Every year I go shopping on BlaCk FriDaY! This year I went to  Target! I got a few GrEaT deals this year on some DVDs, an ipod nano, Guitar Hero for the Wii, and some other small items. I love getting a discount at Target since I work there. Like always there were a Ton of people going for all the good deals. At least there were no fights that broke out or people getting trampled.  But I heard that some lady pushed her way through an emergency door just to get in. Some people get so CrAzY!!! No deal is worth breaking the law for and having the police get involved. Sometimes I wonder why I go but it is a thrill to be able to get the good deals!

Shawn Bradley came to my work!!!

I was working the other day and SHAWN BRADLEY came to the pharmacy and graced our counter to ask us to help him find a product. He was so tall(7' 6")! I couldn't believe how tall he was in person. I would have only gone up to below his waist if I stood right next to him! I now know how Muggsy Bogues felt when he stood next to him. He could see over all the top of the shelves. I would be happy just to be able to reach the top shelf!  We all wished we could have gotten an autograph but didn't want to be rude and bother him.

TWILIGHT MOVIE!!!

Ya! The long awaited premiere of TWILIGHT!!! I am so glad that I didn't have to wait in line for hours to get a seat...I LOVE that the Juction has reserved seating. I went to the midnight showing of Twilight last night with some friends, my sister, and my cousin. With all of the screens showing Twilght at the theater, I have never seen so many girls in one place. It was craziness!!! What other movie will you get a fashion show with girls dressed up in prom dresses in the theater and everyone cheering at the screen with the first scence of Edward and Jacob. So here goes...my official review of Twilight. I liked the movie and will definately buy it when it comes out on DVD to add to my collection but I have to say that I thought the book was way better than the movie. Without giving any spoilers for those of you that haven't seen it yet...I thought that there were some scenes that I wish they wouldn't have rushed through so quickly. When you read a book you get these visions of what the characters will look like and then you see it played out in a movie the way you expeceted and sometimes different. They depicted the charaters really well. I had pictured Charlie a little different. That mustache of his was a little weird. There were a lot of parts that everyone laughed out loud at. If anyone out there is wanting to see the movie I suggest that you read the book before seeing it. I like to watch movies at least twice becasue there is always things that I miss the first time I watch a movie but will catch the second time around. The ending left me wanting more.
If you have seen TWILIGHT I want to know what you thought of the movie.
Are you a TEAM EDWARD fan or a TEAM JACOB fan?
TEAM EDWARD ALL THE WAY!!!

Bond...James Bond

I went to see James Bond Quantum of Solace on opening night at the Junction and thought that it was a great action movie! I didn't like this one as much as Casino Royale. If anyone has seen it...let me know what you think.

Catching up

I have really been slacking on the blog thing lately. There have been a few things that I have been meaning to blog about but just haven't had the time to. Don't you every wish there were more hours in a day or that you could turn back time just for a few hours? That would be so awesome if we could!
We The Kings and The Academy Is were in town playing a show in SLC at In the Venue a few weeks ago along with some other bands that I had not heard of before but enjoyed! The other bands at the concert that night were Hey Monday and Carolina Liar. I love going to concerts and hearing new bands. I am such a music fan! The concert was great...one of the best ones I have seen. I hadn't seen We the Kings or the Academy Is in concert before and thought they played an awesome show that night!!!

I was so sad that I wasn't able to take any pictures that night because my camera batteries died and I forgot to take extras with me. I was mad because I had such a great spot to take pictures, up on the balcony above the crowd.

QuAteR oF a CenTurY Old...25!!!

On Tuesday I celebrated my 25th birthday!!! I went to the Cobra Starship concert at the Avalon. I had such a blast seeing some of my favorite bands! Hit the Lights, Forever the Sickest Kids, and Sing It Loud were the three other bands there that night. All of the bands were so good! Sometimes it gets a little cRaZy at these concerts with everyone jumping and dancing around. I even lost one of my earrings. I was sad because they were my favorite ones. :(  It's rough when you are short like me but I still have a lot of fun!

Apollo Anton Ohno

I was excited to go to the ISU World Cup Speed Skating Finals with my sister and a few of my co-workers and their families. We got tickets to go from a friend of ours that is the coach of the Australian team. We all had a great time watching Apollo Anton Ohno(helmet #222) and all of the other speed skaters! There were even a few crashes! Those always add excitement to the race. I had fun cheering for 3 teams! I was not only cheering for team USA, but also for China and Australia. It felt like the Olympics were here in Utah again being there in the Olympic Oval. When the 2002 Winter Olympics were here in Utah I only got to watch the Bobsled and Skeleton events.

Apollo Anton Ohno is helmet #222 in first place!!!

Jumping On The Bandwagon

First there was e-mail, then there was social networking, and now blogging. Like my title claims...I have officially jumped on the bandwagon of the blogging world.  I am so excited to start blogging! I am not always that good at keeping in touch with everyone so I thought that this would be the best way to keep friends and family up to date. I hope you will all enjoy my blog as much as I have enjoyed yours!
