These are the last few movies I've seen. The two movies I saw recently were "This Is It", the Michael Jackson movie and "UP". I thought they were both very good! If you haven't had a chance to see either of these movies I highly suggest seeing them!

"This Is It" definitely showed me another side of Michael Jackson. Wow he is so incredible at what he does! He was an amazing artist with so many visions. Watching this movie makes me wish that I could have been lucky enough to have gone to one of his concerts. While watching Michael Jackson rehearse certain songs you could just tell he just "feels" the music. This movie is one that everyone should see!




"UP" is one of the cutest animations I have seen! Pixar has done it again. Russell is the cutest little scout that made me laugh so much! This movie was not only for kids but adults as well. This is one of the best films of the year!!! Loved it! See it!

I saw this movie a few months ago but never got around to blogging about it. "The Time Traveler's Wife" was a real tear jerker. I didn't read the book before seeing this movie so I was a bit confused about the whole storyline. But it really touches your heart. I love Rachel McAdams and thought she was great in this movie. The little girl's character in the movie also was very endearing .

Diane Pugmire {1957-2009}

I along with everyone else that knew Diane was shocked to hear the news of her passing. She was such a wonderful woman that will truly be missed. She touched so many lives with her kindness and knowledge. It was very evident by the many people that attended her viewing and funeral. Natalie and I have been very good friends ever since elementary and I have been honored to have known Diane for so many years. My heart goes out to Natalie and her family. The Pugmire family will be in my thoughts.

New Moon Tickets!!!

I am getting so excited for New Moon! Everytime I see the trailer I get even more excited to see it! I just bought tickets for the midnight showing on Thursday! I am so happy that I was able to get tickets at the Megaplex at the Junction because I had tried to look for tickets and by the time I went to look they were all sold out. Lucky for me they added more showings! Anyone looking for tickets should hurray because they just added a few more showings for Thursday and Friday. That was on Friday, September 11 that they added those extra showings!



The Amazing Race 14: Winners....

TAMMY and VICTOR

I am so happy that they won!!! I had been rooting for Tammy and Victor this season. I felt like they were the most deserving to win. I was on the edge of my seat during the finale watching them try to catch up to Margie and Luke. The last leg of the race was so intense. I can't imagine having to carry that huge pig! I thought that Margie and Luke had it in the bag to win when Luke got such a good lead on the surfboards. Victor was lucky that Luke got caught up on the last two boards!

I am going to digress for a second. For those of you that watch The Amazing Race...what did you think about Jen and Kisha being eliminated from the race because Jen had to go to the bathroom? Losing by seconds sucks! When you have to go, you have to go but with a million dollars on the line...I would have run to the end even if that meant peeing my pants! What would you have done in that situation???

Fall Out Boy at the Great Saltair

The Fall Out Boy concert at the Great Saltair rocked! All Time Low, Cobra Starship, Hey Monday, and Metro Station were the other bands there that night. All Time Low played an awesome set and I also got to meet the lead singer Alex and guitar player Jack!

Are in the mood to laugh a lot? Go see I Love You, Man...it's the funniest movie I have seen recently! This movie was so funny I almost spit my drink and popcorn out all over the place because I was laughing so hard! Paul Rudd and Jason Segel were so hilarious together in this movie. Paul's character says some of the most random things that are so funny but made you feel so embarrassed for him at the same time. "Slap the bass" in a leprechaun voice.

Guys and Dolls

Last night I went to Bonneville High's production of "Guys and Dolls". I have been wanting to see this one. They put on a great show last night and did a fantastic job! If you like musicals like I do this is a inexpensive way to see a great production! The production is almost over so don't miss this it! The last day to see it is...

ThE PaiN oF A toRn MuScLe!!!

So for the past couple of weeks I have been sick with a cold and coughing like crazy. About four days ago my side started getting sore and I figured it had been from coughing so much. Well the other day I was at Old Navy and coughed three times and on the last time I didn't know what had happened. I could barely move or walk around. I was in such excruciating pain! I was glad that there weren't a lot of people around because I was leaning on things trying to get a grip of the pain I was in. I was worried I had cracked a rib or something because I felt this weird pop. I got to the doctor as soon as I could to get checked out. He took some x-rays and told me that I didn't crack any ribs but had torn a muscle. It is pretty lame that I am in all this pain over coughing! It hurts the worst when I cough, I can barely move around, and so many little things aggrevate it even more. I have noticed that we take so many everyday things for granted. It hurts to bend over, blow my nose, and laugh. I am just happy that my cough has subsided and I only cough a couple of times but when I do it hurts like crazy!!!

The Bachelor shocker!!

Wow! That was one shocking Bachelor finale! I couldn't believe what happened! I was so happy when he picked Melissa. Both Melissa and Molly both seemed perfect for Jason but Melissa just seemed to be the better choice. With all of the hype about having the after the final rose so intimate I definately thought it was going to be Melissa considering that her family didn't want to be around the cameras and stuff. It did end up being her but that wasn't the reason for it at all. I never expected what happened. As I was watching I was in shock. My jaw was on the ground! At first I was a little angry at Jason but then I could see his point on not wanting to drag out something that wasn't there and maybe he shouldn't have done it on TV but I guess that is what the show is all about. Like we have seen in the past with all of the other bachelors or bachlorettes...it becomes very different outside of the show. I feel really bad for Melissa because she seemed really hurt and upset by the whole thing. While watching the part 2 of the final rose I could see that Molly and Jason were really happy to be together. I hope they last and get married! I am really excited for Jillian being the next bachelorette!

Body Worlds was AMAZING!!!

Body Worlds was one of the most fascinating exhibits I have ever seen. I was so amazed at how they were able to put the bodies in all of those positions. If you haven't been to the the exhibit yet stop reading...there are a few spoilers. The arterial configurations were so amazing...the one of the head was the most fascinating. When I heard the they were displaying baby embryos I wasn't quite sure what to expect or how I would react to seeing them. When I saw them I was actually really intrigued. I knew that babies developed early on in the pregnancy but seeing the 9 week embryo was amazing. The baby was the tiniest thing but the fingers, toes, and face were so prominent. If you haven't had the chance to experience this I suggest that you get tickets to the exhibit now before it is over on Jan. 11. 

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I can't believe that Christmas and New Year's has come and gone! Where did the time go? It seems to fly by so fast! Christmas was great being with my family. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year! Cheers to a Happy 2009! A fresh start to the new year. I don't really like resolutions but my top five things that I would like to try to work on this year:

1. Spend less and save more money

2. Be less of a procrastinator 

3. Eat Better

4. Organize ALL of my scrapbooking supplies (my stash is quite a ridiculous amount)

5.  Work on my OWN scrapbooks
